Hydrogenated cardanol derivatives were evaluated as potentially active insecticides/repellent agents against insect pests such Liriomyza sativae (Diptera: Agromyzidae) and Bemisia tabaci biotype B (Hemiptera: Aleyrodidae). Benzoylation, acetylation, methylation made on the hydrogenated aromatic ring to synthesize ingredients with potential insecticide action.
